Imagine this…
InitiatingFrontlinesn "Welcome to the Frontlines, spartan. This is a Warzone. Our Marines have planted a bomb at a covenant comm relay, but are pinned by hostile fire, giv’em some cover will ya? "
Your team exits the pelican and sees a big structure surrounded by elites. You elimate them and as a few marines come out, one presses a button and the structure explodes.
“Well done Spartans, but it’s not over yet. Baddies inbound from across the (name of geographical location). Sending you some help.” Two pelicans drop off two warthogs and a few mongeese. Your team divides up and enters a new, very large area which serves as the actual map. You capture an HQ which is permanent. Then there are 3 extra easily defendable strongholds. Big map and instead of reqs, we get timed bonuses and some armaments based on number of bases held. Only sprint, no charge, no ground pound. Abilities provide an edge to how you approach a situation. I believe this is what Warzone should be.
you said no reqs so i like it already
dont really see the point of no charge or ground pound if it appears its an AI mode, unless your just making new parameters to the already existing war zone where this would happen to both teams.
I feel like it could be a cool standalone mode or variation.
So like multiplayer campaign?
so warzone/payload/assault
