So my idea is simple but i think it would add a lot to the customisation to people’s spartans like changing the color and armor and such …
As the Halo games have progressed the amout of things you can costomize on you spartan have gotten a little better with each game
-color
-differnt armor
-change of visor color
-name plates
MY idea as you rank up / get XP {not sure what one HALO 4 will use} you unlock new weapons for you spartan to hold such as HALO 3 had an AR-- HALO REACH has a DMR And HALO 4 could have all of them, as you rank up unlock the hammer or needler, sniper the list goes on and on, so when other people look/click on your Spartan they see the weapon you have chosen { NOT TO USE IN THE GAME JUST FOR LOOKS}
and Halo 4 could be any kind of weapon that you see fit i think people would really like this idea and it would inspire people to reach that next level / rank to unlock the weapon they like the most.
None of these things have to do with gameplay… They’re only superficial elements.
Love this idea… especially the weapons… I would also like to add on dual wielding for your spartan in the menu… Just to have dual energy swords, pistols, etc.
There’s a possible chance that this may already be in Halo 4. In the E3 build of the Demo there was an option under the Customization menu called ‘Portrait’ that was locked, so we may be able to change the weapon and pose the spartan has. (just speculations though)
I’m a huge customization freak. Always have been with everything. So any more ways to make my spartan unique and awesome looking to me is much appreciated. I have a feeling that some of the armors in this game ate going to be crazy to look at after seeing the armor specialization pictures and the FOTUS armor. I can’t wait to see all of them, especially the high ranked and secret ones.

Yeah after watching some of the E3 vids
im really hopeful that this is true

Agreed even if dual wielding is not in the game it still would be cool to have my guy holding 2 guns…

Good point! But I do what my spartan to look like a decorated war Vet minus the rainbow colors and -Yoink-

Halo is borrowing a lot from other games AT LEAST this has nothing to do with game altering -, as its just for looks .

Altering the looks of the game is, in fact, altering the game. It may not be as obvious as a perk tree or a killstreak, but it is true nonetheless

Altering what your spartan hold on the service record shouldn’t hurt anybodys feeling about anything + its an option so YOU wouldn’t have to use it .

Im not a fan of all of the new customizable stuff but I think this idea along with a few would be great
Halo 4 has added tons of new things for us to change and I cant wait to try them out and change them all around …
