I went out and got a -Yoink- load of 2XP and like 3 hours later i cant get xp Why

It seems you hit the daily xp cap from playing. You can do one these options:

  1. Keep playing for NO xp

  2. Get off Halo 4 and wait until around 2am PST for the cap to reset.

Go look at the DAILY Challenges section in Halo 4. Look at when those challenges expire. That is when your cap will reset.

Weekly update said its being raised…of course the geniuses at 343 failed to mention what they raised it to…

It’s damn near impossible to hit 150,000 legitimately, unless you’re literally playing all day long.

Not really. If you play Spartan Ops while using double xp, you’ll get 11900 per match. With an average mission being roughly 10mins, you only need a couple hours to hit it.

Me and my buddys 7 of them were all huddled around playing and we all have to cap for tonight were a little disapointed tho hope they will raise it

Well, then you’re actually just farming for XP, right… which is exactly why there’s a daily cap. So if folks didn’t do that, there’d be no need for one.

I’m fairly sure they just doubled it… Anyway, I think you’re playing the game for far too long…

Well, XP farming isn’t exactly fair when it unlocks things that can give you a competitive advantage in the game.

It’d be better if you could only get unlocks from competitive game modes, but then folks used to ranking up by playing co-op would have a fit.

But the real problem here is Halo’s antiquated scoring system, which gives you more points for just showing up than your actual match performance. If they modernized a bit they could get rid of xp farming, afk’ers… the works. Then all you’d need to do is just… do stuff. The better you do it, the faster you unlock stuff.

You know, like pretty much every other modern shooter.

I’ve playing since about 6:30 this morning because I have school off and haven’t played in quite awhile, and I have only played in matchmaking, I just hit the Cap. I am very disappointed in 343 for not fixing this problem it’s almost been a whole month, since the problem was realized.

How the -Yoink-?

I play Spartan Ops and I use Fast Track (Tactical package that grants bonus XP) and I only get 3559 XP per match. Not to mention I have only had double XP credits work for MP matches, not Spartan Ops
