I just hit 130 last night, but I shouldn’t probably be lauded for a few more days because I used a few double XP…

Because if you site double xp or playing spops to get there, then your definition of boosting is incorrect.

no, i played spartan ops but did not get the opportunity to do the dew.
i heard there was a way to like hack your box or something and rank up.

Boosting is the act of a user speeding up the process of gaining awards or experience in video game, typically a First Person Shooter in an online Multi-Player setting, by using methods that are not supported by the game developers and the online community. These methods include the user having one of his friends joining the opposite team and letting the user kill that friend multiple times to gain experience and kills at a faster rate than normal.
Example.
You and five of your friends, go into Regicide and one person assassinates everyone, boosting the assassination stat way faster than getting it through normal gameplay.
I made it to 130. I only wished they made harder to get it. It was a bit too easy.
It’s great that you’ve maxed your rank and got that shiny new emblem. Believe me, it’s awesome you took the time to do that. It shows a lot of dedication to grinding.
But I’m sorry, this is nothing to be screamed from the mountain tops.
What pride can you take in completing the same challenges over and over again for extra XP? What skill does it take to play over and over and get XP whether you do well or not? How can you possibly find this as an accomplishment worth showing off?
I just don’t understand. This is nothing compared to getting onyx in the arena in reach, not even in the same world as getting a 50 in Halo 3, and not even the same galaxy as getting a 50 in Halo 2.
It’s great that you’ve met the max rank, but it is nothing to brag about.
With reach, it was a long hard grind. But if you made it to Inheritor, you achieved something that was, I feel awesome.
They could have made the ranking system a middle ground with Reach and Halo4. I made it in 21 days after launch, fifth in the world, one day after RO Deuce. What did it get me? Not much, an emblem and a background. Should have been a helmet, even if everyone makes it there, it would have been nice. Is it something to shout through the streets, maybe, just like when the first 50’s get there we will hear about it.

absolutely awesome!
Even tho I reach 130 on new year. There is nothing special about getting to 130 since all you get is a emblem that to me its not even worth it. If it was a nice armor that you can only get at 130 then sure but I don’t see the point to make a video of it of getting to 130. As well there is already videos of some players that reach 130.
