Has anyone actually tried this game yet? I downloaded it the other week due to it being free on Gold for Xbox One and I got hooked. I even managed to get 1000/1000 GS just yesterday.
It’s a platform game where you’ve got to save your younger brother from some creepy old guy named Mustacho.
But yes, has anyone else tried it?

I tried it, found many glitches and about to beat it today I think.
> Xbox has never really had a good platform game, and even then most of Sony’s good platform games were on the PS1 or PS2. Did you ever play those? Is it similar to them?
I do remember playing a good chunk of platformers back in the day but names escape so I couldn’t say, if you search for it on the Xbox 360 you could download the demo and try it for yourself.

Try not to pause the game when using the pen, for some reason it makes the pen disappear and you have to exit the level and go back in for it to come back. ¬_¬

Sadly, I’m gonna miss the chance to get it for free xD I haven’t been able to take advantage of any of the free for gold games. Every time I go to download them through my computer, it makes me verify my Microsoft account. The only options it gives me are via text message. My phone is currently suspended to save money, so I can’t x.x
My son and wife love playing this together. I think they’re up to chapter 3 or 4. I really dig the art style and creative use of the pen to create or destroy. Very solid game in every department e.g. graphics, gameplay, creativity, audio, level design.
I’ll have to set up another profile so I can play through on my own.

Always worth multiple playthroughs, as I said before though if you do play make sure not to pause when using the pen. Level breaking glitch there.

Good tip, thankfully they or I haven’t run into that one as yet.
I picked it up through the same method you did (Games with Gold on the XB1), it actually gave me a pleasant surprise. It’s a rather neat game, with potentially lots of replay value. Mustacho makes me laugh too.

Yeah, Spartan Assault was kinda hit and miss for me. It’s a fun Halo game if you wanna kill 20-30 minutes or so but any longer than that each time I play makes me bored unless I’m hunting for achievements.

Well, i bought an Xone (i’m waiting Destiny Beta)
Actually, i have the 2 Gold games (Spartan Assault and Max) + Killer Instinct (wich is free xD).
I spent 11H on Spartan Assault (if i trust the stats of this website.) Ok, i’m haunting the achievements + full golds + all coop but it’s a pretty good free game.
Max is also a very good game, i love the concept, but is a bit too easy i think, you are helped on everything. Like, if you are stuck 1m+ Max will say "maybe if i try this and this, and he will spoil the solution…).
But booth Gold games this week month are good. If you are Gold, you should try Max, it’s very polish and nice to play 
I haven’t play it. If it’s free, no harm in getting it, and playing it.

Have beaten it. Awesome game.
I’ve played the first level so far. I actually was kinda surprised. It’s a very interesting platformer.
yea it’s better than Spartan Assault which was the other free game in june. Pretty fun, I wouldn’t say I got “hooked” but I just beat it the other day and I plan on getting 1000 gs from it.

For the most part they’re super easy achievements, maybe look up a guide on finding Mustacho’s eyes but other than that and the one where you need to survive the entire mission by not dying you shouldn’t have any problems.
It’s a very fun game in my opinion. I bought it long before it became part of free games with gold. I think it is worth the $15 I spent and I am trying to find the remaining collectibles so I can get all the achievements. For those who don’t have it, give it a shot while it’s free. You won’t be disappointed.
