Sorry to hear that.
Happens from time to time but just use it and keep going with it and eventually playing against higher tier players will help you grow to be better. I started out horrible but got to Onyx just by getting destroyed over and over again by players better than me.
I came back to Halo 5 after months of being away and went into placements for SWAT. Proceeded to get into the first match of the day with the rank 1 Champion SWAT player for that season… Was a rough game I still have nightmares
