Why is it that in my first online games in arena that I keep getting placed against -Yoinking!- platinum players or higher?
Also, what is the punnishment for players that leave an active game?

Cause the system is trying to find out what skill rank you are in, so if you lose/win if will match you up accordingly - sometimes doesn’t work tho, especially if you are playing with friends who already have ranks etc.
The punishment for players that leave they get banned/time-out for like 10 minutes or something, more if its serious etc.
No F… Matchmaking! There is no matchmaking in this 343 Halo 5 game. I’m sad to say that Bungie is no longer making Halo so the great, balancing matchmaking that was in previous Halo games is history. I’m frustrated too! The last Arena game all twelve on our side was forced back into our base. I finished the game and we had one player with more then 10 kills. The other team lowest ranked player had more then 20 kills, highest had 71 kills. I fear, it’s only going to get worse.
