quite a few points to do with matchmaking and i will not stop posting until 343 pay attention to those who play the game. I will be posting this on three main

The Matchmaking System
Look 343 we all see what you tried doing with join in progress but please admite failure on this, it’s terrible. Your multiplayer lead designer stated ‘There is a system in place to
stop players joining to far into a game’ That is a complete lie, i have spawned into a game were i was defeated with 5 seconds, and many other games where the point deficit is beyond repair.
PLEASE HAVE AN OPTION IN THE MENU/SETTINGS/PLAYLIST OPTION TO OPT OUT OF A JOIN IN PROGRESS GAME!

Points #2 will be longer and all playlist based.
I have played more Halo matchmaking in my life then most people will ever get closed too, so i know what the community likes and dislikes so please really listen/read the points below

SR Ranks Yeah great another ranking system based off play time and not winning, this was in Reach and everyone disliked it, but putting that aside i see why it’s in the game, it just needs additions
who remembers the Halo 3 TU2 update with playlist Exp? That was so much fun trying to rank up, trying to earn the 5 last Exp for your next rank before you went to sleep. What motivation do we have to play now
And from 343’s prospective MAINTAIN players? NOTHING
Adding ‘Per playlist Exp’ would be so much fun and keep the game alive and competitive and FUN - When i say Exp i mean 1 Exp for a vicory & 0 Exp for a loss. And this way we can have playlist leader boards back
COUGH COUGH If 343 make/Enable a public API for good statistics.
Playlist Changes Needed / Not Needed
(Assuming we can stop join in progress i suggest the following)
Infinity Slayer - Playlist is currently fine, could use some forge maps
Big Team - Remove Infinity Big Team, Add Big Team battle (mixture of Slayer and Objective)
Regicide - Remove FFA Regicide for the love of this game, this is the single worst playlist in the history of Halo, Regicide is a TEAM game …
Oddball - Add new maps (Forge) - Game type is fine
Capture the Flag - Add new maps (Forge) - Remove complex (Un-balanced)
King of the hill - Maps and gametypes are currently fine, but try add new maps
Flood - Remove zombie thruster packs, add sprint. Make a 1 head shot version (Classic infection)
SWAT - I dislike swat but why remove one of the most popular playlists?
Snipers - Add a ordnance drop (Beam Rifle Only) But make sure there is no ‘Pick up weapons’ << Good idea right?
Dominion - Just do anything to remove the amount of screen lag / Low FPS
THINGS THAT NEED TO BE ADDED!!
Infinity Slayer FFA - This game type is by far the most fun, and exciting, why this was not in from launch boggles the mind of every Halo Player.
Competition - Add all game-types from MLG / EGL And any other ‘‘Professional leagues’’ into one big huge competitive playlist, and yes add true skill when this is launched
Double XP Weekend - Bring back double XP hoppers (Only if you release a new XP system like TU2) These were so fun, and people arranged games with fun to get that XP up!
Griffball - Really not my thing but this community is huge, and has no home in Halo 4 yet … Even with the dedicated game type.
The bottom line
343 you have made a good game, you have just executed and mislead people so much, please let people with experience take over the playlists. I know i will have hate thrown at my for this
But i don’t care about that, i care about making Halo 4 playable.
I also think we should have ordnance in some objective game types …
