I know bungie is done with matchmaking updates but will 343 still have some or is Reach dead?

I believe 343 will deliver playlist updates eventually. It’s not been quite a week since they took over…just have to give them time. They already promised a TU so they have plans for Halo: Reach.

It’s the Title Update they are going to do this Fall, to give Halo:Reach a more classic feel. It will work alongside the way Reach currently plays.

PS You’re missing a “c” in Matchmaking in your title.

Sure not a problem. You can edit your OP if you like including the title by clicking on the Pencil Icon in the upper right of any post you author.
