I spent a long time this afternoon trying to get into a matchmaking game on HMCC. I quit and restarted the game a couple of times, and did everything else I could think of to clear the xbox and the game and restart.
The game put me into a lobby, began (very slowly) populating the lobby with players, and allowed us to choose a map. By the time we made it this far I was already frustrated because of how terribly slowly this process proceeded. And then before we could begin to play, the game informed us that the game was over and it booted us all from the lobby. It did this over and over, never allowing us to actually play a game.
And this is not the first time this has happened. In fact, it literally happens a few times every time I go into matchmaking. Now, I only bought my Xbox One and HMCC recently, but I have yet to have a good matchmaking experience. Today I didn’t get to play a single match, which is why I’m posting here.
I have a brand new Xbox One, and HMCC is the ONLY game I have on it. There is nothing wrong with my internet or my game console. The problem is HMCC. I spent around $450 buying console, controllers, and game so I could play HMCC, and the thing doesn’t work.
Dear 343 industries, if these are the sorts of problems your game still has more than two months after release, you are a bunch of incompetents and have no business selling games. I don’t so much care about a refund for my console or game, but could you please give me back the hours that I’ve spent sitting around in lobbies and watching loading screens without ever getting to play the game? Thanks.
