As everyone knows, the matchmaking rules are getting temporary bans from playing if you repeatedly betray, suicide or quit games, I feel like the only rule that is actually getting enforced is quitting and this needs to change!! Most of you should know that if you quit three times in a certain amount of time you will get banned, so why aren’t the other two rules being enforced. I just played a couple rounds of breakout because I actually started to enjoy the new breakout. Not nearly as much as the original but I still like it, and three outbof the 4 matches I was placed with someone who would as soon as the round start, kill my other two team mates and myself, moste times we managed to get but he would follow us and help the other team then stand in the open or pick up a splinter grenade and kill himself. He betrayed over 10 times in a single match and didn’t it three matches in a row and committed suicide! Burn yet he didn’t get banned or disconnected! This needs to be fixed and the rules must Be enforced better because it ruins the game for people, please play fairly.
I was just playing a team doubles match and my teammate quit. I didn’t because I absolutely refuse to quit games unless a real life issue comes up. I got by butt kicked and my “teammate” messaged me saying “Lol” I didn’t think it was that funny. If you are going to search for a game actually play the dang game, stop quitting people

Yes exactly!! People need to stop trying to make the experience worse for everyone else
It’s not the system, it’s the people (and the servers) and you can’t change the people (but the servers can improve)…
Ya, it’s obnoxious. Honestly, it’s not something I run into often. That’s cuz I got a buddy that plays a lot. If you get more friends to play with you run into that crap less!

yeah, sometimes its hard thought trying to play with friends when you both or all have heavy schedules.
The first ban needs to be an hour not just 10 minutes. Quitting is still a problem.

That’s true. Responsibilities… always getting in the way of more Halo. I’ve become a pro at figuring out a way to play more, sleep less. and feel miserable the morning after.

I agree that it should in general be harsher. But at the same time there are enough server related boots and disconnects, that I don’t mind it being shorter. Cuz while it’s not a lot, I or my buddy get booted from time to time, and I’d would rather not end up with a 1 hour ban during my game night. Maybe if they can teach the rules to recognize the difference?

Or a disconnect should only count as one fourth of a regular infraction. Meaning that 4 disconnects equals one quit.

It’s between two and three minutes actually for quitting and griefing. I believe afking is a tad higher.

Hmmm, I most commonly see 10 mins. When I see a two minute ban timer is usually after I play another match and the enforcement was delayed. I would assume if that match lasted 8 minutes, those 8 minutes where subtracted from the ban timer thus equaling 2 minutes. Just my theory on how the banning works.

The enforcement is always delayed a short period usually the length of a match. The system runs a bit slow. It starts with times between two or three minutes and seems to double with repeated offenses. If you have further questions you can check the link in my signature.
