So last weekend, I started playing halo after a long-ish hiatus.
I wanted to get back used to the feel and also try out infection from the MoR update.
After a while of infection, I played some breakout.
***I was playing on one of my alternate accounts, xChay5x, because it is my casual account***
I wasn’t doing too well. I didn’t expect to, because I just started playing again.
But when I went to the carnage report, I noticed they were definitely a higher rank than me. Note I was unranked at the time.
And, OK, they were a lot higher than unranked. -Playing against onyx and diamond- I DID TERRIBLE.
I seriously got 4 kills in the entire breakout match.
I may have had low standards, but 4 kills is WAY below what I like to get to.
In another game I played against an onyx in the unranked playlist again.
Now, as playing breakout after my hiatus, I didn’t get ranked very well.
I got ranked in gold, and my overall KDA in Arena went from a 3.8 to a 2.8. Ouch.
While I was gold (which I still am, haven’t played since the weekend), look who was on my team: A champion.
This is NOT fair to the other team, who was ranked gold, platinum, and unranked.

If the champion wasn’t on my team, they would’ve been CRUSHED.
There were two guys, one named “eV Deadline” and the other “Dynamo”.
eV Deadline was SR 144 and Dynamo was SR 140.
That was pretty cool, however. I’ve never played with a champion before until then I’m pretty sure.
I just thought this was pretty weird. Even if it happens again, I’ll play. I need to compete against more experienced players anyway.
