I still can’t stay with my party after a game, my party gets split up to different teams and player host advantage is outrageous. When the dedicated servers don’t kick in, the player host kills me in 2-3 head shots and it takes me 5-6. I am sure you are trying to fix these problems but this is getting ridiculous. How can you even have ranked matches when the host has that much of an advantage.
I’ve been playing Halo since Halo 1. This is my first post ever because I am so livid. I am sure people are going to say, ‘get better at the game’ and stop complaining. I was a level 50 in halo 2 and 3 so I know when there is host advantage.
Please fix!

I fully agree with you that the host in h2a is horrible, but the br is only a 4 shot kill on host, i know this because i pull host a lot, and a 5-6 off so if you strafe hard enough you can still win. also dont lie about your ranks in former games, you were a brig grade 2 in halo 3 and never played halo 2. It’s embarrassing when you get caught.

They said halo 1 was going to be peer hosted, Halo 2 feels peer hosted as well. Not sure about halo 3 or 4. I only notice host advantage mainly on halo 1. It would not surprise me that they have yet to enable dedicated servers until 343 has fixed matchmaking

well u might have been a 50 in 3 but there is no way you were a 50 legit in 2 because it was impossible with modders unless u bridget host at which point you would never get a match past around lvl 40 because everybody was bridging and if you werent you couldnt play because 9 times out of 10 if was a modder getting bridged. Also saying a host can 2-3 shot is just limited and untrue.
I’m getting 3 shot br killed as well. I don’t think host has anything to do with it. And in pretty sure it’s only h2a that has a dedicated server, oh and grenades kill me at rediculas distances too by the whole team, then there’s games when it’s normal and you actually have a chance
The fact there there is a fall back option that they implemented (host based) proves that they KNEW dedicated servers werent going to work. You dont see Battlefield or Call of Duty using P2P as a fail safe, do you? They knew that issues were going to be here upon release, yet the game was still released, very very broken.
