Is it just me or does it not make sense that the better players are almost always paired with not-so-good players that constantly go running off by themselves and getting themselves killed, thereby losing the game for you and bringing down your CSR rank?? What makes it worse is that these players don’t communicate and they don’t listen to the more experienced players when we give them orders, like “Go get the overshield; it’s right next to you.” They don’t and the enemy picks it up. Or “Go pick up rocks at my X,” and it just sits there until someone stumbles across it by accident before I can respawn and go get it back. Is there a rank reset in the works so that you don’t lose CSR rank when your team loses, but only if you get a negative k:d ratio. I’d like to get to Onyx eventually, but how can I when I’m stuck in this matchmaking situation??
The main problem that there is no party matching. You should never, EVER get put in a game against a team of 4 as a solo searcher.

They reset every ‘season’ - Akin to Halo Reach.

No reason to expect complete strangers to take orders from you, regardless of your skill level.
But I agree with you on the k:d. It’s mindboggling that that stat is recorded, and yet your rank is based off of wins/losses. I don’t care if you got 20 kills; you’re not good if you died 21+ times.
I can’t get out of platinum because I’m always on a team with one guy who thinks he’s the best but dies 18 times and Ony has 5 kills, why do I get punished for his stupidity
The ranks will reset every couple of months I think. Just enjoy the game. It’s good to care about rank but unless you are planning to go pro, the world won’t end if you aren’t onyx this time around.

Exactly!!! Last game I played, I got 20 kills, 9 deaths, but we lost because all my teammates had single-digit kills and double-digit deaths!!!

I don’t care about proving myself to the world by achieving Onyx; I’m doing it for myself.
