While I was reading on the update, BS Angel says, “Thousands of you have been enjoying SWAT – this week’s headshot-happy rotational hopper. So many, in fact, that we have decided to leave that playlist in for another week. Additionally, another rotational hopper will be added to the mix, this one featuring everybody’s favorite long-range weapon. That’s right, Team Snipers is a mere five days away!” What I highlighted is what’s freaking me out…
So does this mean, that for each playlist you add on will only be there for A WEEK?! If so that is just plain ridiculous.
I think that means that if they add a playlist and it becomes popular, they will keep it for another week and if it continues to stay popular then it might become a permanent playlist

No, I doubt it would be that way… One week determining or even 2 weeks determining that is quite stupid.

343 have said that if a weekly playlist is popular enough, they will consider making it a permanent playlist. Possibly even pulling an already permanent playlist to do so.

Why are they taking out the playlists we like? How do they think this benefits the game? I want to be able to play SWAT or Team Snipers whenever I want!
What, when they re-add crown jewel, Slayer, will they take it out after a week too?

100% agree with OP. once i read this in the weekly bulletin i went straight to the forums to post in a thread regarding the topic. it’s ridiculous. team snipers and swat (i believe) have been permanent playlists since H2. to even have the possibility of making them rotational is unacceptable. who cares if the population is low. many people love playing these niche playlists. this goes for other playlists too. i never, ever play griffball, but i firmly believe it should be a full time playlist. let people have the option to play what they want to play.
Exactly, I agree with all of you, it’s just stupid. Leave all the gametypes, it doesn’t take that much space or even bandwidth to the game. Why take out so much to leave so little?! We are EXTREMELY limited on custom games and now we’re limited on MATCHMAKING?! 343 … get your -Yoinking!- head together right now …

Has anyone considered that they are adding the playlists then taking them down to fix any problems players reported before making them full time playlists?

Then they might as well take all the playlist off and leave us with nothing. Ans plus thats not the case cause it was more of a success than infinity slayer, so i’m not many people had any problems with SWAT.
