I have attempted to play Halo MCC matchmaking for the first time in a few weeks. I cannot play BTB, H2A, TS or any other game types. My game as of now has been searching for 30 minutes. ( searching for more players… ~ players found… ~ connecting to session ~ failed to connect )
At times I have quit to the main screen, and attempted multiplayer again and am prompted with a message saying I have no Xbox Live Conncetion. I have checked my network settings and have tested my speed twice in the past couple hours. This has also happened to me the last time I played a few weeks ago.
Another issue I am having is not being able to load the playlists. It will say that it is attempting to download information. Then it will say that It cannot retrieve info from the servers, play without connection?
I was highly embarrassed this afternoon trying to load up a Co-op game for me and my friend who came over to my house. He has never played The Master Chief Collection, and I could not set up a co-op game. By the time I could (after multiple dashboarding) I finally got the MCC saga playlist to load. When we did the first few missions, he was stuck in the reloading animation in Halo CE, later on he was frozen in place unable to move and kept dying without reason. This later happened to me aswell. It was the most embarrassing feeling…
I am sad and disappointed that things like this are happening. I am 24 and he is 28 and we have both been playing Halo for years. He was just as disappointed as I was. The game seems to be progressing into a state of decay and becoming nearly unplayable as the weeks and months go on. What is going on? This isn’t another rant about how the game doesn’t work an how I hate Halo. I merely want this game to work the way it was promised to be… Sooner than later.
I love Halo, and I hate to see it in this much peril. Please fix The MCC soon.

Searching For 343 To Answer… Failed To Find An Answer…
Several of these issues can be solved with a quick hard-reset of your Xbox One, such as issues with starting co-op. Others may be install errors, as I haven’t heard of the respawning issue before. Finally, if you are using Wifi, I would highly suggest you use Ethernet, as that would be the only thing that could be causing any issue loading playlists. Dropping data, ect. I have no other answers, sorry.
Two Matchmaking Games in one hour and that’s been about par. No problems in custom games minus the same chatting problems that have been supposedly fixed: NOT. The games we got into are still buggy and laggy. Kicking people. Weapons disappearing. Achievements won’t unlock. THIS IS JUST PLAIN RIDICULOUS. It has been 100 days!!! You have had 100 days to fix this game, a ton of days before that to actually test the game, and you can’t/didn’t do that!!!
Stop spending so much time on Halo 5 because it’s only a direct copy of Destiny and COD combined. It’s garbage. Try fixing some games that were actually good. I don’t see how you don’t put in more time because if this is the result for games that have already been released, what makes you think that anyone would want to buy a new game from 343. This is utter garbage. I have religiously played Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 for years and I cannot do it anymore even though that was what was promised.
I pulled my preorder on Halo 5 and I will not be buying it unless this game is what was promised to me. As far as I’m concerned, you stole $60 from me, because I can’t play even half the game as was advertised. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE THIS! I have never had much to complain about with the Halo series but that just takes the cake. You need to give the franchise back to Bungie for free. You won’t make any money off of it. You might have to pay them to take it back after what you’ve done to the good name of the Halo Series. Either that or fire everyone and start with some competent individuals that know how to make a video game and actually like Halo.
