When I join a matchmaking game, I’ll either get disconnected at the loading screen, or within a minute of joining the game. It’s not a simple disconnect, either. It COMPLETELY reboots my router. I lose Internet in my entire house until my router reboots. This happens on two different computers in my house. I thought this was obviously just an issue with the router, but I have a friend who is having the same exact problem as me in a completely different household across town. I also have friends who live relatively close to me with the same ISP and they do not have this issue. I can get through an entire game very rarely, but 90% of the time, my router reboots. I called my ISP and they have no idea. I submitted a bug report through the waypoint, but I’m more curious if anyone else is having this problem. I found a few threads on Reddit for the PC version of MCC, but most of the topics I can find are topics that were never resolved, where this exact same issue was happening with the Xbox version. If anyone has any advice, or similar stories, I’d love to hear them.
I’m having this same problem too. I have absolutely no clue why. I figured I was having issue with my modem, but it always seems like this is the ONLY game that kills it, and it only happens when I’m queued up for MM.
