So the past couple of weeks halo 5 has been sending me back to the lobby and displaying the message “waiting to join match in progress”. This happens on the first match I try to play every single time I boot the game up. Others I’m playing with are experiencing the same issue. Are there any updates to resolve this?

Is this something you’re having trouble with when playing customs?
Nope. It’s every time I start the game up. Since the last update my first match always boots me back to the lobby and says waiting to join match in progress. It has been happening to my friends as well and is hurting our rank. We are trying to play ranked down a player a few matches each day. It happens in ranked, social, war zone, and customs. Seems like a server issue.
And now I see that it won’t let me join anything in the custom browser either. It says I was disconnected from the server when loading in. Then it changes to waiting to join.
