I’m curious if anyone else is having matchmaking issues on XSX? Most of the time I can find a match, but occasionally I will be searching for a match and “in progress” “waiting for other players” lasts for an unusually long time. I can’t back out and queue again, but can only fix the issue by quitting out of the game and relaunching it.
Update: I’ve replicated another matchmaking issue and it seems to happen after playing a match. Sometimes there will be an option to press “X” to match make while in the post game summary. If I press to begin matchmaking and then go back to the lobby it won’t queue me into a match. If I try to cancel search, a message states my “fire team will return to the multiplayer lobby.” I’m not in a fire team, but select “yes” to return to the lobby. It does not cancel the search and I have to restart the game to get back into a match. This is a similar but separate issue from my original post.
