My matchmaking times are slow across the board. I should be finding games in under 30 seconds, it usually takes closer to 5 minutes in all playlists.
Also I have set my controller vibration to disabled for all titles. It works for all titles except Halo 3. In Halo 3 even though I have my controller vibration set to disabled my controller still vibrates every time I shoot. I have checked many times to make sure I have it correctly set to disabled, which I do.
Also this isn’t a bug but simply terrible UI design. After every match I shouldn’t be kicked back to the Matchmaking playlist menu a timer should simply start to search for my next match. Same as they did in Halo 3.
Also, another UI design problem. When setting up a Custom Game, each of the 4 tabs shouldn’t require an action to move to the next tab, that’s the worst UI design in the franchise, and this franchise was started 14 years ago.
It was also stupid to have so many unlocks from the campaign, the vast majority of the fans are here to play the matchmaking, yet all the unlockables are from completing the campaigns. It makes no sense. Also when I have to spend an hour waiting to find a match staring at the nameplate, you think the nameplate unlocks would be attached to the matchmaking, why all the unlocks are attached to the campaign is just beyond a sane person’s thought process.
I also don’t understand why everything 343 does is in the color light blue. Bungie used an amazing color palette of green, purple, blue and interesting neon colors. Every single thing 343 does simply uses light blue. It’s ugly, and makes your terrible UI stand out even more.
In the post game lobby, there are 3 pages of statistics. One of the pages, is literally your score, that you stare at the entire game. H1 had a 50 times better post game stats screen. Why not add some interesting categories, like hit%, headshots, shots, reloads, shields dropped, maybe an mvp player, some basic interesting stats.
Also, when I buy a collection of games that have been out for 14 years, that 2 of them had working matchmaking for the over 20 million copies sold of their games, and after you have released a game for an entire year I still can’t find matches in a reasonable amount of time, is frustrating.
