I’m just wondering if people are having the same issue as me with how the matching system works now.
I check the ranks of my team and the other team after every game and it feels like I constantly get stuck on teams of 3 under rank 22 when the whole other team is 27+. The matching feels completely unfair in almost every game. I’ll get 25 kills and still lose because my team all goes -10 with no clue what they’re doing. Does anyone else get this garbage MMR or is it just me?
Its extremely bad at this point and honestly its making me feel like this game isn’t even worth playing anymore, maybe it’s time to just retire and move on to something better/newer.
As a solo que player it’s depressing…
The best way to play competitively in ranked is definitely to look for a group on Xbox live or discord, or to friend some players online and queue with them. Going solo no matter how good you are will almost be impossible to rank up beyond 25, very few can do it.
When I actually play, I made a fairly large list of friends and we just play together. So I never honestly come across this problem ever.
I don’t want to rely on an AI to try and read my mind and figure out ( somehow ) who to pair with me. I’ve never had a good experience with any game relying on the AI to do that for me. I’m at the point that I feel that solo queuing should be renamed playing to lose. There’s too many factors to take into consideration when making a team, and there’s just no way an AI out there is going to be able to reliably take all those factors into account when trying to make a team for you.

Yeah man, once you reach the Mid 20-30’s you will consistently run into squads who find/play together. So searching Solo is very much luck of the draw and more often than not you will have a couple players who are much lower in skill/rank.
Certainly the best way to break through these lower ranks is to find and play with others. Before they reset the Ranks I got to a 50 mostly Solo Queue in Slayer…I personally found that up to lvl 30 it was a REAL GRIND because of the players you would get matched up with.
However in the Mid 30-40’s searching Solo became easier in that I was more likely to match with better players at these higher ranks, however you will still more often than not run into sweaty squads so your still better off finding good teammates to play with.
Once I reached the High 40’s to 50 I found a good squad to run with to reach level 50. When you find good teammates add them as friends and overtime you will grow your player pool to run Ranked with.
