Matchmaking is against me?

Just let me admit right now that I’m absolutely atrocious at the game myself. For whatever reason I always seem to panic when under the random BR fire that always hits me and I just die every time. It’s like I have to hide in a building all day if I want to live for more than a few seconds.

That being said, I don’t think it’s entirely my fault that my win/loss ratio is so low. I’ve never won a single game of regular warzone, and the loss has always been at least a 200 point difference, or more. I don’t know that I really blame my teammates either since I have no reason to believe that they aren’t trying their best too, but it seems like we’re always very clearly outmatched. I don’t know what to do about that. I can’t just “git gud” when I can hardly move five feet out of where I spawn every game.

I used to just tough it out but lately it’s really been making me mad, does anyone else have an issue like this, or some advice?

Play the campaign. You’ll get used to the controls and gameplay mechanics.
Then go to pvp, you clearly don’t know how to play.
Your SR17 and lack of campaign shows it.

Try to play custom games with friends of equal skill, if they play halo. This is how I first got into halo. The healthy competition should make you all improve.

The Halo 5 campaign will only teach him the bare minimum. If it was a prior Halo game I’d be more inclined to agree with your statement.

@AlphaUmbreon
To be truly better, I think your best bet is to play some custom games with other players or friends, or join a Spartan Company.

My company takes all skill levels of players, since we just play for fun. I wouldn’t mind playing some games with you either to help you get the flow of it.

Then play WZFF instead.

I have to agree with Palmer here.

The Campaign, even if is just a little, will teach you the basics of movements, and you will have the oportunity to try almost all the weapons the game offers (not counting the req variants). Personally, I think that jumping right into multiplayer without having touched the campaign is a big mistake, not just in this game,but in any game.

Then, like other people said, try some customs. The custom browser will offer you some good options to play.

Then, if you dont feel confident enough, try Warzone Firefight. Here, you will gain EXP and REQ points, that will help you to unlock some REQS to use in the actual warzone.
