Since there is no direct way to contact 343 directly, why not make a post about this.
I know 343 is busy with the master chief collection and h5 guardians, but I have this issue in every grifball match I find. I use to love reach gb and it was worth playing before halo 4 came out. I’m talking about boosters.
One player usually has the ball and holds on to it most of the match. The other players (ally and enemy) usually either protect the carrier or just that and taunt each other within hammer range.
Your allies will betray each other or you for trying to play the right way. Sure, there might be a kill here or there, but theres no vengenance held when they die. This keeps up until the match ends.
Here are some stats. Tied at 2. Enemy carry times: 1 min, 5 mins, 1 min, 1 min. Ally time: 30 sec, none, 1 sec, none (guess who was the none. Yep). Kills: (enemy), 9, 6, 13, 0 [due to quit], (ally), 32, 3, 2, 7. Everyone had -kd
I’m not 343 so I can only suggestin remove grifball. Ps: boosting is not any other playlist. Pss: this is not my main profile.
It’s pretty much all you’ll encounter nowadays, if you don’t go in with a full team. It’s because Grifball gives out so many credits – not sure why this is, but it seems like an easy enough thing to adjust, yeah?
Is there really any other reason to play GB? I mean, seriously, when players are determined to play it the “right” way, a game is over faster than it took to find the match. In my opinion, that’s no fun at all.
I go in there to rack up multikills for a daily challenge when I don’t have the time to do it in TS or BTB. Or sometimes its just fun to indiscriminately pound on people. Think of it that way and everyone is a winner!
P.S. - GB IS NOT the only (or biggest) boosting playlist. Firefight the title champion on that.
They should make the Grief Ball play like Hot Potatao, that it detonates after 30 seconds, this would speed up matches and kill people holding the ball.

Well, that would also ruin the game. The problem is with the postgame cRedits awarded, not with anything that happens during the game itself. Just reduce the rate at which you earn cRedits, or slap a max cRedit limit on each game (one that doesn’t make boosting worth the time), and that’ll solve the problem instantly.

A lot of players dont realise this but when they introduced the higher performance bonus for winning the game it was meant to give you a higher payout the quicker you scored 3 bombs and won.
Of course it was not done correctly. The longer you stay in the game the bigger the performance bonus( if you win) and the bigger the game complete bonus are awarded.
This single change is why now everyone plays out each round to sudden death and has turned Grifball into what it has become today.

It almost makes you suspect that it was done to nudge people who wanted to actually play the game over to Halo 4. Or, at least, that’s why they don’t mind not fixing it.
