Hey guys,
I just tried to play Reach with my brother (both with different XBOXes, different accounts, different internetproviders), but we were unable to search for games in Matchmaking.
We could not search for any matching, not as a group and not alone. But we could play a campaign misson in koop-online mode.
So obviously Reach matchmaking is down for the moment. Any ideas when it will be working again? Are the Reach servers down?
The Reach server’s are indeed down due to said server feeling shame for hosting such an abomination related to the Halo name.
On topic, no idea, usually they back up fast.

Well obviously I am a very lucky guy, being able to love or at least really like every Halo game out there.
I was blown away by Halo CE, I really liked Halo 2, I loved Halo 3, I liked Halo ODST and I loved Halo Wars.
As for Halo Reach, I really love the gameplay in multiplayer, because it adds a fresh new twist to the gameplay that I loved in Halo 3 multiplayer.
But really interesting how that can differ from person to person.

Im hyper competitive and a strong believer in the skill gap, Reach was disappointing to me MP wise but im also a fan of Halo campaigns so i did enjoy it. I dislike many aspects of Reach as it just does not feel like Halo plus the lack of skill gap makes for some seriously annoying games.
Hopefully you can get back on soon to enjoy more Reach, im waiting for the Beta playlists ^.^ as i previously mentioned it really wont take long for the server to be back up, longest it has taken as far as i know was 1 hour but its commonly a lot less than that.

Hi ladies and gents,
I’ve been getting “The Halo Reach server is unavilable at this time, please try again later” since 24/OCT/2011 and everytime I load up the game my profile on the right has been set back to recruit with factory reset armour, though when I press the start button my armour set, colour scheme, rank and credits are there. WTF?
Anyone know why this has been down for so long and why I still cannot connect to any of the multiplayer servers? (H3 attempted too - nil result).
I’ve been forced to revert to GoW3 and CoD for my MP fix.
