Matchmaking ban

Hey everyone,

so at about 2:40AM PST I finished a game of big team battle like usual, but only this time when I tried to continue playing, there was a warning at the bottom middle of the screen saying that I was banned from playing from matchmaking. I’m not sure why, I didn’t do anything wrong. I just recently renewed my live after being away for more than a year, and Ive never done anything that could caused me to be banned. I’ve contact Xbox support, and they told me to contact 343, but I can’t seem to find anyway to find a support email/number of any of that. I’d really like to clear this is quickly because I a monthly challenge I was focused Eminem getting in less than 20 hours and I’m only 5 matchmaking games away from getting it. Like I said, I’m not sure what I did to receive the ban, I can only speculate. Any advice would be truly great. Thank you

edit: Well I just logged onto live and I’m able to play live again, which I’m really happy for, but I’d still like to know what I could’ve done to receive that ban in the first place

Sounds very peculiar, I have no idea what has warranted that ban. Perhaps posting the Halo 4 support sub forum would get you an answer:

If you quit too many games you get banned for 60 minutes. Sometimes the game glitches and thinks you quit even if you really didn’t. Not sure if that’s why you got banned, but it’s possible.
