The matchmaking ban system is NOT working AT ALL. Scenario: I’d be playing Arena Slayer 4v4 and the game starts off great, all of a sudden, players on my team quits… leaving me alone 1v4, so here I am trying to take on 4 people without a team. So I decide to leave the game, AND I GET BANNED?!? 343 ruined multiplayer by implementing the ban system, they need to stop creating game types and start focusing on refining the problem in their system.

There is a ban thread at the top of the halo 5 section, you may have better results posting there. If you didn’t quit regularly you wouldn’t be banned.

What i do to prevent that is I play with friends so that way I know my team won’t leave. Try doing that

I see you’ve caught a couple snarky responses here. I agree with you. I NEVER leave games. However, if I’m in the scenario you’re in (which I have been) and leave, i would be banned. For 15 minutes normally. So it’s not an issue of habitual quiting. If you quit, you’re banned immediately. It’s pretty unreal.

  1. 343 didn’t implement a quit ban. Bungie started that so if you want to go yell about someone starting it, go yell at them.

  2. If you don’t want get banned, don’t quit.

  3. There’s a sticky thread at the top of the Halo 5 section, use that.
