Please 343i for people who want to play halo alone can u please allow us to not face teams if we play alone? I shouldnt have to form a team every time i want to play something in halo 5. Why cant i just play whatever and not worry about facing a team every other game?
Do you guys think the search parameters should be party size (teams vs teams and solo players vs solo players)?
I really would enjoy halo 5 so much more if this was the case. Also we need more SOCIAL!!!

Um yeah when i dont face teams. Most the time when i play i almost always play groups in arena. The point is that people of lesser skill we also be facing teams also. This game kills u for playing alone. K/d who cares. In arean k/d will go down the more you play no matter what.

His stats aren’t really relevant to the fact that this game needs party restrictions in ranked playlists. Solo-searching becomes progressively worse the higher your rank is, because of this game’s focus on team shot over individual skill. It’s even worse if your MMR is higher than your visible skill rank.

Also, I play alone all the time and I do just fine.

Thank you! someone else understands. Its not just about me, its about everyone else as a whole who goes through the same thing when they search solo. The game needs to fix this. I bet a lot of people stopped playing just for this reason.

Lol warzone -Yoink!-. But I still agree. In H3 if you went in with 4 you would find a team of 4. Its been done in the past and makes the games more even so idk why they haven’t implemented it into this game
K/D doesn’t matter, the fact isn’t about your K/D. When I search with my friends, I hate playing in full teams EVERY game and call out like the biggest sweaty tryhard. I liked it in MCC where you play some teams but you mostly played with people who just wanted to casually play. I hate Halo 5, one reason I dont play this game is because the searching. I am pretty good at halo but I cant stand playing against teams of people who eat, sleep and breathe Halo and have no life…

To be entirely frank, party restrictions are hardly relevant when you’re playing silver/gold Arena. Your experience is completely irrelevant here. The gap between a team of 4 in Onyx and Champion and 4 Onyx/Champion randoms is significant and the fact that those kinds of matches are relatively common undermines the accuracy of the skill-ranking system. This applies to varying degrees all the way through platinum at least. Gold players wouldn’t be gold if they had good teamwork.

I don’t think you get the point of this thread. This is not about “when you search with your friends” and get good matches. You should get matched against teams when you have a team in a ranked playlist. The OP is talking about going in solo and getting matched with people searching with their friends, while you’re stuck with wildly inconsistent randoms who don’t use their mics. What you’re looking for is a real social playlist, which I agree the game does lack.
