Just downloaded my digital copy of MCC, now every playlist I search in yield no results after 15+ minutes. When I try to back out of match making the game locks up with a “leaving match making” bubble in the lower right. Anyone else?

I don’t know if the digital downloads include the latest patches or not - sounds like they don’t. I had to restart xbox to force it to look for the update that somewhat improved matchmaking.

I’ve had to restart 3-4 times when I got stuck leaving match making. Each time I would try a different playlist, have kinda givin up thinking there is nothing I can do. I will go see if there are any forceable updates, I do not recall the game running an update in the style the old 360’s would. Still learnin tho!

“I had the exact same issue as you.
I then read about doing a “Power Reset”, this is not the Hold Power button for 5 seconds reset, but literally power off xbox, wait until it is fully off, then unplug the power cord from the back right.
Wait for ONE MINUTE, if you plug it back in too soon it WON’T clear the cache correctly, so its best to unplug and wait.
After waiting, plug power cord back in, power up Xbox with controller, start Halo, try matchmaking.
Immediately after I did the “Power Reset” I was able to find matches online.
I hope this helps as it did for me and many others who couldn’t find one single game online.

Now I’m not real sure who he was talking to or what his issue was, but I unplugged my box for 2-3 minutes and and now searching again. I have now been in one lobby with 6 others that crashed after a minute, and now im in a lobby with 6 more people. Team slayer. Hope I’m playing soon! Havn’t found anyother players till now, so forward progress.
Played my first game about 5 minutes after doing the reset, seems I’m atleast on the same page as everyone else now!
