That is people around your level. Just because you got the short straw doesn’t mean the system is broken it actually works really well.

Tell me how it is fair for both me and the enemy team when I go positive 18 with 25 Kills ?
How is it fair that I get teamed up with people who are new or not as good at the game and I just destroy the enemy team ?
I does it because I first know are getting into devision but It is not fair for the opposing team nor is it fun for me…
You are all about the same rank correct? If so its not the match makings problem its the fact that people either get lucky or get carried in to that rank.

No I am usually Ranked as Onyx and the people I was facing was not higher than Gold or platinum.
It is in my opinion cases like this where it could take the “fun” out of the game for the opposing team.
Now I do see that it the game tries to match me differently after each match but when I get the same kinda teammates on my team it makes it rather difficult to carry three others why my opponents are of higer rank than my team.

Yeah i got matched in slayer with a bunch of level 20 and below it wasn’t even really a game
Browsing through your game history for today and I don’t see where you went 25 kills? Any link to the game you are talking about? Playlist?

It was probably because you were unranked only then do I see the matches being unbalanced like that

Welcome to my world. haha. I made it to platinum 2 last month. Then in my 10 placement matches over have the games my teammates were gold 2 or lower. Most of the time they were Gold 1s and lower.I lost 7 of the 10 matches. So I got bumped all the way to Gold 2. Now Thats all i ever get matched with except for on rare occasions I’ll get Gold 5 and 6 maybe a platinum 1. Needless to say I’m now search for players that I can team with that can communicate. But thats been a challenge since i only play on Saturday afternoons(due to a real job, Wife and child). Instead of golf time I have video game time. But hard to find players for that time and day of the week.I’m sure with a good team I could play high platinum or even Diamond. Good luck to you.

Well I’ve typically been ranked Platinum or Diamond (only one season, I believe) in that playlist, so my team totally makes sense. But having us go against 3 Onyxes (with one being 1822)…ouch.
This ranking system is beyond stupid… I understand what OP is getting at.
Ive just done my april FFA placements. won 2, finished top 3 in all but 2 games, and consistantly had onyxs in every match… I get given a platinum?! Wtf man. i can clearly go up against onyxs throughout placements, do better than 50% of the players i was up against, but i get given plat. its soo -Yoinking!- stupid.
how anyone at 343 thinks its fair to be playing against onyxs in FFA placements every match…
This ranking system doesnt mean anything… anyone can be up against anyone, and the same increase/decrease happens regardless of opponents rank. my fix for this would be everyone starts in bronze from day 1, get rid of placements as they only add confusion and frustration to arena.
So, to the OP, yes its frustrating that your playing against noobs, but the reality is, everyone is playing every skill level, there is no skill matching at all imo.

What you described in detail is pretty much what happens yeah, it can be frustrating .
I play with a body of mine and whilst he gets ranked onxy, I get ranked Diamond, Even though during those 10 matches my overall performance where better. This is one area too where I think the system falls short.
And about the last part with everyone playing against everyone, I do think you are right man, just kinda sucks that way no ? I miss the true skill from H3, best ranking system in a game I have ever seen !
