I am the type of person to play out every game, even if my entire team left and the hacking enemy team spawn kills me constantly.
It is extremely frustrating when the game crashes, my Xbox crashes, I have a power surge, etc. which granted is very rare but still just seeing the in game message that I’m banned is so annoying knowing that I did absolutely nothing wrong.
I think the solution could be just simply a second chance, (every 24 hours?) you leave one game with no punishment and anything further could implement the band/suspension system that is already in place. If anyone has any other ideas I would be very interested to hear some opinions and hopefully 343 could make this change, doesn’t seem like it would be too difficult.
A little off topic but why stick around especially if your the last player in an obviously lopsided match. You will get meager amounts of XP and won’t incur a ban if you quit.

A few reasons, one being good sportsmanship I guess… I know that one doesn’t really make much sense if you’re the only person left on the team, also fear of getting a ban, and not wanting to waste the time already spent in the game for nothing, even if it is a small amount of XP it’s better than nothing

If you are the last player, from the opposing teams point of view it’s better sportsmanship to quit. Nobody wants to remain in the match and it’s almost like your holding the pace of games up. If the rest of your team has quit out, you will not incur a ban. I usually play swat so in the amount of time you waste in 4v1 you literally could’ve completed another match with better XP yield.
It seems I have jinxed myself, yesterday while playing, my Xbox froze completely and when I restarted it of course I had a temporary ban. Well I am playing right now and I have had two games completely crash and send me back to the main menu the first time I did not get a ban but the second time I did…
The quitters are so rampant it unfortunately has to be strict banning regardless of your situation. You just said you stay in a game even if everyone quits…so isn’t that a problem more so than you sticking it out? (Which you don’t have to btw)
