I still don’t understand why the matchmaking system is allowed to match randoms against full fireteams in arena. My last game my self and my team of randoms got destroyed by a full team led by an Onyx ranked player. Now for one I should never be up against someone that high. Ever. But there is also no excuse that the system couldn’t find 7 more randoms like me for a game. Makes for a terrible experience for the random, and if it happens enough I find something else to spend my time on.

It’s unfortunate this is still an issue. Overall this is the best Halo MP as far as enjoyment level. Please do something to fix how the teams are matched though.

What division are you in? If your Platinum or higher expect to run in onyx player. If you can’t rank up further solo, try joining a competitive spartan company to get people to play with. That is what I did and now I am able to compete with onyx and diamond lvl players. It will actually make you a better player, I’ve found. Individual skill will only get you so far in Halo, especially this one. I guarantee you that most onyx players got there with teamwork and are not these exceptionally good players you could only dream of competing with.
