Ok guys and gals,
I’m a casual player who love to play H5. Most of the time i spend on SWAT. My rank is moving between gold 4 and plat 6.
Past few weeks i start to expiring something bad.
Just because play on focused search i meet the same players in different matches from week’s. Sometimes against me, sometimes in my team. We know each other emblem’s gamertag’s, we send GG messages…
But on the point -
I start to meet bunch of players who use Smurf account’s.
How i know, well they have 0 to 100 G points in their Xbox account’s.
And when 2 level player manage to make 20 + Headshoots against plats and diamonds… Something is definitely wrong.
I messaged and speak with few of these and - lol, surprise their primary account is ranked Champion.
Ok,how they even match against me? My team are from gold’s and plats.
Answer - Easy. They make a team with few friends who used Bronze and Silver - Smurf account’s.
And even better, shortly before the end of the game - that friends quite the matchmaking just to preserve their lower rank and Champion to get all benefits.
After few of these FAIR matches in a row , from Plat 6 i drop to Plat 3
So fellow Champions can you explain :
Why you screwed the other players?
You suppose to be the most better in the entire World, why you purposely playing against uneven players?
Right now I’m pised of these…

This happens quite a fair bit. It’s annoying how not only the ranking system is screwy, but the matching system as well. Makes no sense.
If i was on Expanded search… I can understand but on focused
higher rank against me need to be diamond 1 if i’m plat 6.
The Champions need to be matched against other Champs or Onyx players or atleast against full team with Diamonds 6 and above.
Solution
If middle rank players been playing against Champion or Onyx, they need to preserve or rising their ranks.
This is my purpose and for the games that has a Quitter’s from your team.
what annoys me the most is not that these players beat me (they often dont because they are discount champions) but they can get a rank that they do not deserve at the expensive of others ranks that they may deserve. In doubles I versed a player that was gold and a player that was onyx. They ranked against my teammate and I, when I was onyx and he was diamond 1 and we stomped them. Crazy thing is the gold did much better than the onyx. I call him out for boosting and then he insists that this person was actually new and he was just playing badly. My teammate and I continue to verse these people and continue to beat them with similar outcomes. From these games I was barely ranked up at all (only a few csr) because of this gold. Not only does it not rank me up but it also provides an unfair safety net as well for these boosters as they get ranked down less. It angers me greatly that players that are clearly much worse than myself can be a higher rank than me while I am playing fairly and honestly and then they insist that they deserved the rank. While I would consider myself a champion able.player (I cant get the rank for various reasons that I can explain if someone would like) and that can skew my data it still doesn’t take away from my point.

I am the only Gold ranked player, when I team up with them, it is only in the social playlists, but we mostly match with onyx and diamond players. So they keep me on my toes. It may have to do with the time you play. I noticed there are certain times when we keep getting matched with the same group of players.

Maybe but still i feel riped and i loose my rank and my altitude for long periods of time.I even loose my desire to play Halo.
I’ve had the same experience as you OP. In my case i have faced champs and high onyx ranks due to smurfing. i had matches where we face the same team over and over and wrecking us so bad, however, sometimes i face 2 golds 1 onyx and 1 champ but the match itself was fair enough in terms of scores. the matching system is supposed to match you against people with similar skills and thats something i learned from josh on its updates. smurfs have been a problem for a long time and i dont see this issue being fixed anytime soon. im ranked gold 4 i believe and i still face diamonds and onyx for no reason.
