just played about 7 games of slayer, I am unranked but platinum in arena. In all these games my team mates struggled to get kills against the enemy team and they destroyed us. The ranking system is broken because i was the only one on our team competing in all these games whereas my team mates were doing nothing and were probably silver rank at most. How are we supposed to get matched with people at our own skill level if i am going to get placed in a lower csr than i should be and then i have to play for hours more to get to my own rank which i should have been in the first place.
After a few games and once you get your actual rank you’ll have a lot less of unranked players, but the problem arises when you do get matched with “same” ranked people when actually some of the people just got lucky and got placed into platinum or something when they actually lack skill. It cripples your team as they don’t stand a chance against the other team. this constantly happens to me in slayer and it really is annoying when everyone except one player is doing descent and they are giving free kills ._.
I understand but i think it is broken and does not work as they wanted, it should be done on skill not games won

It works fine. I was placed in gold with a 1.o kd in slayer because i went 5-5. But got plat in team arena because i went 8-2 with a 1.1 kd. I have since worked my way up to plat in slayer and i can honestly say i felt right at home. Some games i did crazy good. Others not so hot. But i only felt like i was a little better then eveyone else. In team arena in plat division the games are a little more competitive and admittedly i cant just steam roll everyone but i feel like i am still able to complete. Have faith in your skills

Futhermore my friends aren’t better then me. And a hand full of them got placed in sliver. And a couple of the better ones got placed in gold. I was able to call out each one of their ranks a game before they were placed. That is what i call working in my eyes
I won 3 of my placements in team arena with a .297 K/D and it put me in Platinum 1…
It doesn’t even make sense! You can’t even say I got carried with only 3 wins and a massively negative K/D.
