When there is someone who lags out or quits in the middle of a match, the losing team should not have that match be counted at all… k/d wise and csr wise. It is unfair that people must suffer through 2 v 4 or 1 v 4 situations, in which every encounter has the odds stacked against you. Just something to implement so that once one person leaves or is DC’d, it gives incentive to stay in the match for the other three, if they win congrats, if they lose, the match never happened. Thoughts?

Maybe give the winning team w in and losing team no change, sounds great but then you’d have people exploiting the rule.
How would they exploit it?

How would they exploit it? Have someone leave on purpose from their team? I want to say this rule only applies before the half-way mark has been reached in matches, and maybe some other constraints so that players who are already losing, don’t do this to boost. But, if 343 were to set a longer ban time for quitters the more times they quit, leading upto week or month long bans, I am sure those people would stop. Sure they can exploit one or two games, but if they get even more punished, the more times they do it, say by the 5th time within a week’s span or within a 50 game period? That calls for a 24 hour ban, and by the 10th time within a certain period, that results in a week’s ban.

i honestly think you should get a bonus to your XP and req points if you stay in a game where most of your team has quit, as well as if you join a game in progress.
maybe 50% extra per teammate dropped in Arena and warzone.
if you JIP, 10% for every 10% into the game time (based on score)
People would exploit this with their friends obviously

Read my response to Hitorgia, I explain that with harsher punishments, we can get around people’s exploits besides 1 or 2 games.
