For real all over the world no one is playing halo 5 anymore . This game is far becoming a very serious annoying joke as much as i love it. Im really starting to understand why everyone hates 343i . & this issue is with all game modes. This game is not reliable if you want a good game session on your own or planning a fun night with friends. Bring back the player count off how many players playing the game types so maybe i will know which game type to choose. Thats if anyone is still playing! Seriously sort your self out 343

No im in northern ireland. So it still uk but i dont understand this problem.i have 7mb net which is good.i can stream full hd 1080p films no problem & play all other games no problem ! So it is defo a halo 5 issue. Like said love the game when it works but its getting worse . I always put in halo aniversary and it plays great when halo 5 is on it blob again several times each month . I cant even forge as its screwing up my saves and changes i make are not happening either. The list is endless with the amount off issues im having . Another NI resident here and I have the exact same problem. Update wrecked my ability to play this game without constant lag.

As a side effect of this European players suffered latency issues which feel like you’re getting cheated in game. They complained vociferously and 343 made the changes you are now experiencing.
They have effectively set opening hours for their online game and that window is only a fraction of a full day. We can no longer play the game when we want.
I managed to play 11 matches over 6 hours of failed searches the other night from between 12-6am. This issue is real and anybody who tells you it isn’t is only playing during peak hours.
343 will fix it eventually but personally speaking, as a late night gamer, if they don’t fix it soon I will be trading the game in. I decide when I play the games I buy not the developer!

Im glad to see im not the only one having this issue as you have had to find my thread.im still having the same issue which im so not happy about! But yet the new ctf play list on the small arena maps work fast. Sorry to 343 if i come across rude as im clearly really angry.its a major northern ireland and some off other uk problem.you know the country were we get free health checks lol.
Please fix this halo 5 issue.
I have started to look at other ways to kinect to games fast with other players and well it seem to be custom games for me.as a bita lone wolf this can be hard.i was so lucky a youtuber let me invite him to play one my custom games last weekend.and after that he left and the lobby stayed and kept changing for the next 4 hours.game after game.the way i remembered halo 5.great feed back on my maps and malice & pounders proved big hit.check my maps out on forgehub.com
Halolfg.com to find custom lobbys which i found last night.so glad as i hope this will give me the halo fix i need untill 343 fix the problem. & if im on hit me up for custom games untill the issue fixed.i know this post has a bit off extra in it.but its to help people like play again.and yes my net speed good 7mb. 3-4 times the speed needed for gaming online as my mate has 1-2mb & plays online.

Thank for all that info.we should be able to play when we want.im a late night game on a saturday for sure.as play when having a few drinks like most lads or gals play.i play most times i can as i work 12 hour shifts and screwed up rotaten days each week.peak times for me is when my partner is home and have to socialize ya know.so peak times your saying is mostly a big NO for me.as the average gamer is 30 as i have read more than once . This is clearly not suiting the most off us. Aside from were kids can play peak times after there home works done lol. We should be able to play when we want!!!

Things have been fixed for me, check your connection!
Gusy there’s no “Check your connection” arguments, only “Region lock servers” and “sick matchmaking alghoritms based on CSR”.
These two things combined toghether prevents anyone from finding suitable games in off peak hours.
You want a more simple explanation? No one is able to play whenever he wants because of those restriction anymore. You want to play at 3AM for any reason? You cant because everyone hosted on nearer servers ar asleep. You are also Onyx in that playlist you want to play? Things will be even worse.
This is stated by 343i, by Xbox live service support and dozens of players in this very forum so STOP ANSWERING “to me is all perfect, don’t change anything, check your connection”. Speaking of me, my connection is fine as always, OPEN NAT, NO PROBLEMS and SINCE START OF FEBRUARY I CAN BARELY FIND MATCHES: BEFORE I USUALLY FOUND GAMES WITHIN SECONDS EVERY -Yoink- TIME, NOW I CAN ONLY IN PEAK HOURS AND WITHIN MINUTES (but VERY OFTEN SEARCH ENDS WITH “UNABLE TO MATCH” ERROR). IN OFF PEAK HOURS, instead, IS IMPOSSIBLE LIKE THEY’VE TURN OFF SERVERS.

This is agreeable to an extent. Logically, yeah it makes sense, but before the update I had no issues no matter what time of day. Obviously most others didn’t have issues based on time either because it’s only become a complained about problem after the update was released.
I unerstand clearly now why i cant play.
Well i hosted my firdt custom games saturday nite.a whole one person joined and hope this is going to get better as would off been better with a few more atleast.see what im forced to do to be able to play.as soon as the guy left i was able to play 3 big team matches with in seconds off matching then the peak time ended & so did my option to play halo.i turned the xbox off.so 343 you ruined my night again.words cant describe how i feel and clearly dont want to be kicked off this site.i know for fact i can put on another halo game and play no problem.but i want to play halo 5. I would probly be ranked near 70 now if it were not for this crap update and im stuck on 50-51 now for weeks & my gameplay is been affected too.

100% halos side depends on how good you are if your diamond rank then in peak times you will be fine but for me in onyx searching swat impossible to find any games during peak or off peak times searched for over an hour tonight from 6-7 not 1 game
I didn’t have problems finding games on those days, do you play on anything other than an Open Nat?
