How else is it going to properly determine your placement if it doesn’t pit you against both ends of the spectrum?

It’s not meant to insult but I mean you have a positive K/D not far off from me but I’m Onyx in almost everything if not Champion. I only am allotted 2 hours of game play each day as my Fiance gets home 2 hours after I’m off work. Keep playing, Losing is part of the game and even if you lose as long as you do okay you will be placed high.
Don’t get too upset in your ranking matches. After you rank they do get a little more even. It’s actualy better to rank lower than you should be and play your way up to where you belong.
getting stuck at a rank you have no business being in really sucks.
Also very soon those platinum 6 players won’t be so overwhelming. I’m anywhere from gold to diamond in my playlists and I’m a very casual player. Once you get against onyx guys the competition goes off the charts.
Whats really disappointing is next month you have to go through this all over again when we all have to re-rank next season. Seasons are a stupid addition, leave players where they belong and change it up so that a player who is being destroyed at diamond or onyx will drop down until he is playing where he should be.

Placement matches are all over the place, once you’ve placed I would recommend playing another 20 games on top, Arena really starts after placement IMO

That’s why I prefer the 1-50 ranks over the tier system, I hate E Sports
