I opened up my Xbox One X about 2 hours ago and it prompted me to answer a question before I went to live social play and the question was hey we support mouse and click here and I have played Xbox since the beginning never a computer. And it wouldn’t go forward without me answering it so I reset my console when it came back on none of my controllers work at all they will in my private games but live social games online my avatar won’t move at all and I don’t know how to get out of there I don’t know how to switch it back to a controller I don’t play PCS and never have help

When you have launched the game go to Settings and under the Controls tab you will see “Preferred Input Device”. Switch from Mouse and Keyboard to Gamepad.
