I was just watching the FUD trailer and I noticed that chiefs voice seemed wrong (he sounded like Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect). But then I thought maybe he just sounds different because he is younger. Does anyone know when the trailer was supposed to be set?
BTW way I think FUD is looker way better than I thought it would. Good one 343!
Oh and I am not saying the voice actor is bad he’s just not Steve downs. (Is that his name)?

I believe it’s 20 years prior so they intentionally wanted a younger sounding Master Chief.
Also, in the future, just use that “edit” button to add to your post instead of posting multiple times please.

Also, I believe Frankie said that they recorded Downes voice too but they went with the younger voice because the Chief is supposed to be younger.
