I don’t know if anyone else has brought this up but it just dawned on me that at the end of Halo 3 john had no idea there were Spartans other than IIs, so my question is what is he going to think about these new, sort of up jumped Spartans trying to be all bad -Yoink-? Personally I think hes gonna have to put them in their place and FAST.
I wanna know if he’ll go into a simulation with the other spartans.
He wouldn’t need to put them in their place. They already know that they’re ODST’s compared to him. Chief IS on top and WILL ALWAYS be on top.

omg i would laugh so hard if they just made a special video with MS destroying SIV after SIV… wishful thinking tho
I was very pissed off when I heard S-IV’s were the multiplayer, they did NOT share the pain and hatred the S-II’s and S-III’s had (they were orphans who had their familys murdered by Covies, true they were kid-napped, but they CHOSE their path), they did NOT endure Mendez’s (and on Kurts order on Onyx) daily asswooping, they DID NOT bleed together like the little kids that could kill them in one millisecond, and they DID NOT go through SEVERE augementations as THEY did! Their augmentations are less painful, NEWER and LESS DEADLY, then the HELL REAL SPARTANS WENT THROUGH! Hoo-Ra, and may the REAL FIGHTERS, Live on as legends, sacrificing themselves for the UNSC and all her colonies, as they forged their names in the blood of the Covenant, dying side-by-side, brethren, Soldiers, Legends!
And over reaction to it being Adults who are around 25, didn’t have their youth in Boot, have not been sent to the slaughter, as the S-II’s did, and did not share the bonds that EVERY spartan had for each-other!
Marines and ODSTs, augmented to stand up to legends, that can not be broken, nor attempted.
Spartans never die, they’re only MIA. It’ll be fun in spartan ops putting them in their place, the fury is good for the kill… I’ll play H4, overlooking SIV’s existence and making my character a Legendary Spartan, not a Counterfeit Soldier. Only few ODSTs or marines deserve it, and that’d be SGT Johnson, Miranda Keys, Capt. Keys, and the other few soldiers who died Legends.
Well, when Mendez left the Spartan-IIs, Halsey stated that he was leaving to train the next generation of Spartans. Chief shouldn’t feel TOO surprised that there are more Spartans about.
I’m fine with the idea of using S4s in multiplayer, as long as they aren’t noticeably lamer. As to the chief, I definitely think he is the best, but I wouldn’t say they are ODSTs…more like, uh…other spartans O.o
