Been an EVA fan since I beat the campaign on Normal in Halo 3. Why WOULDN’T a man wanna look like a badass spaceman in a SCI FI game?

It is likely where they got the inspiration from, however, the armour in the Teaser was simply a placeholder.

I’ve noticed the similarities too. It may be that they both decided to take elements from different versions of the armour though.

Probably, but I’ll miss the Chief’s old look. I hope they’ll take his new look more in that direction when they finally truly decide on and release his new groove.

I liked his Halo 2-3 look the most, really.
