I am confused - during the mission ‘Infinity’, Sarah Palmer is nearly the height Master Chief, however, in the end credits with the Didact narrating, Master Chief is way taller. Does anyone have clarification on which scene is correct for Palmer’s actual height?
John / Master Chief - Height 2.18 Inches
Sarah Palmer - Height 2.05 Inches
Surely the camera angle will cause the illusion that both have the same height.

And the camera angle is quite level, no illusion. And Palmer distinctively looked up - not at all equivalent height.

Just to make mention - I have read each of their bios, thus their height. I am was merely curious why would there be such a difference during these cut scenes…

Palmer is obviously shorter than the genetically modified John…
She’s also a female, which are genetically shorter than men.
Maybe she is standing on the higher up stairs. GAH I hate sarah palmer
A bad camera angle gave the appearance she was tall. And at the end the Master Chief had his helmet on, Palmer didnt.
most likely for game-play sake.
It was probably intentional I can’t see Sarah being anywhere near Johns height realistically but for gameplay purposes I can see why they’d give it off that way
As others have mentioned, they come from different developments and the type of armor that uses each makes it remarkable the “Little” height difference.
Well if we look at actual night stated in the halo 3 limited edition book it sates that chief is 2.08. Meters tall or 6 feet 10 inches no using this as a base whe can look at side by side comparison on photo shop and there is on problem with this and its armor mesurments but we can still measure her height comes to be 6 , 9 hope this helped

its safe to assume that even though John is taller, the dramatic increase in size is because Palmer is not standing on a level surface. im pretty sure the walkway he is on is a few inches or more above the training platform she and the other IV’s are on in that room.
