Sorry if this is old news, but I’ve been at work all day. I just checked out this new Halo 4 video/trailer on the XBL dashboard a minute ago, and I believe I just saw Master Chief’s face as a kid, then as a teen, and then the back/side of his head as an adult.
What are your thoughts on this?

It’s fricken amazing. Reflects the written cannon within the books perfectly. I’m incredibly happy (and proud) that 343i has the cajones to actually do this. Big M.C. has always been a 6’10, 295 lb. white guy with brown hair and blue eyes.
I thought he had blond hair, but I guess I was wrong, lol…

Am I the only one who disliked the idea of seen chief’s face as kid?. I mean I know it fits in the description they made of him in The Fall of Reach, but still I never wanted to see the complete face of John, even as a kid. I just hope they never show his face as an adult. Not complaining about it, I just didn’t like that.

No, I think he was described as having brunette hair in Halo: The Fall of Reach.

No sir. Blue eyes, brown hair, a strong & firm jaw, and pale due to him being inside the armor so durned much. He’s also huge by our standards.
I’m just glad that his older face is always kept obscured or out of focus. Leaves the whole “Chief is the player” idea intact.

We haven’t seen him as an adult though, just a 14 year old.
Um when you say as a teen, do you meen the guy spitting up grossness on the table? If so, that guy has an 013 on his shoulder.

We only see him as a kid everything else after that is either an other spartan or back of his head.

the most you see of his face in his force-grown 14 year old state is his lips.
It was a bad -Yoink- trailer. Got me almost as pumped as that BTS video from earlier this week.
