Who likes the new look of MC and who just think it’s 343’s way of getting rid of evidence that Bungie ever made the game. Or is it because MC needed a new look?
I like it but its not 343i’ way to say “Hey we took over people”
He just needs new armor like in Halo 2.

And he needed a new look after two games. It was getting old.

343i is heavily rooted in Bungie via Frankie. There are no hard feelings or desires to eliminate them from the series. In fact, expect there to be some Bungie Easter Eggs in Halo 4, perhaps even a nod at their next game.
Either way from the 1 image they have released I cannot say I like it. The cutscene didn’t have the same changes that the 1 marketing image does, which I am more fond of as it resembles the previous Mk. more. That said I look forward to the new look, as I do like the pauldrons shown in the image, but feel the rest of the armor is too different and will distance the feeling that the character is in fact John aesthetically.

It’s not some conspiracy to get rid of Bungie’s “evidence.” It’s just new armor. In Halo 2 the Chief gets new armor.
So in Halo 4, he gets Mark VII.

No, the Mark VI is soooooooo 2552.
Just in case you didn’t know already OP, the Chief’s armour seen in the announcement trailer isn’t the final product and it’ll probably look different in the final game, along with a reason as to why it looks different.
