Ok so we have Linda’s, Kelly’s, Fred’s and all of spartan Osiris armor sets but what about Master Chief? We get all his old armor sets, but his new Halo 4/Halo 5 look is unavaliable to us. So what I am hoping is they eventually decide to add it for us to collect as a REQ since it makes no sense for them to add all the main protagonist armors except for the Master Chief. Anyway if you agree with me and would like Master Chief’s Halo 4/Halo 5 armor, please leave a comment, cheers!

Yes made just for him in the actual story but multiplayer is just for fun and has nothing to do with the story. Just because it’s custom just for him doesn’t mean it can’t be released.

I know I don’t see the issue with it at all, especially since every other characters armor is in the game.

I can just hear some of their reasons why it’s not an option. “Oh but everyone will wear it and nobody will wear one of our 200 re-skins.” or “We didn’t do it in Halo 4 so no turning back now.” or even “But Master Chief is different.”
I am cynical yeah, but they might release it as a final REQ item.
I would love to see it, mc amour in pepper colour with the midnight visor or even resolute visor (red one that came with the Locke control)
They have released all Blue Teams armor (except Master Chief), all Osiris Teams armor, Halo Wars Spartan 092 Jerome’s armor, Helioskrill (based off the Arbiter’s armor), all Master Chief’s old armor variants, yet they haven’t released Master Chief’s new armor that he used in Halo 4/Halo 5. I don’t understand why this is but I hope 343 add it as a future update.

Multiplayer is canon, unless a Spartan IV steels or loans it off of the Chief it wont happen.
So I guess since you classify it as “stealing” 343 stole Jerome (Spartan II Leader of Red Team) personal armor and turned it into a REQ along with all of Blue Teams armor and Osiris. I guess all Master Chief’s original armor variants were stolen after he stopped using them, same goes for Noble Six and Carter’s spartan armor. I am positive the Reach update for Halo 5 will release many personal armors too, also what about prophets bane? I guess that was stolen from Arbiter. They also added Kelly’s personal shotgun and Linda’s personal sniper rifle, were they stolen too? Please explain.

Except his Halo 5 armor is UNSC made after the didact crushed his Halo 4 helmet in a comic. It might as well be a part of UNSC’s catalog.

You’re missing the point entirely. Multiplayer is canon; we are “our Spartan IV soldiers aboard the Infinity’s holodeck.” All of the armor and weapons that we see in Arena are standard issue UNSC weapons and armors; including Blue Team and Osiris. John-117’s armor, however, was customized by Cortana aboard the Forward Unto Dawn; it is the only one of it’s kind. Every other armor permutation is MJOLNIR [GEN2]. Jerome’s armor is not a personal armor variant, but is the standard MJOLNIR [GEN1] Mk IV.

Is the exact same suit that he had on Requiem. The chest piece and visor were repaired, and his undersuit was brought up to GEN2 specifications. The physical armor itself, however, is still unique, and not fabricated by any UNSC weapons group.

Except they’ve worked with it. If they can repair and update it, then they can probably manufacture it too (assuming they add it to the catalog.) It’s not entirely alien to them like it was in Halo 4.

There’s way more to it than that. It’s not a matter of they tinker with it for a few months and they know everything about it - it’s a matter of manufacturing rights.
For instance, the Copperhead, Centurion, Hunter, Argus, and Hermes MJOLNIR [GEN2] variants (used by Vale, Fred-104, Locke, Linda-058, and Kelly-087 respectively) are all developed and manufactured by the ONI Watershed Division. The Aviator, Deadeye, Gungnir, Infiltrator, Oceanic, Reaper, Recruit, and Vanguard armor systems are all manufactured by Hannibal Weapon Systems, who also manufacture the Mantis ADS, VISR 4.0 and VISR 4.03. HWS also manufacture the Roge MJOLNIR variant, after acquiring it from the Vestol Corporation.
So regardless of the technitians of the Infinity repairing John-117’s Mjolnir Mk VI, it’s not something that has liscense to be manufactured. They would need it for years to dismantle it and understand everything that Cortana and the Librarian did to it.
The closest we will get to it is the Mjolnir Mark VI [GEN1].
