In the E3 teaster of Halo 4 we have all seen that Master Chiefs armor is different. Not just the growin guard but the entire armor. The chest, sholders, and such. I was wonderig if 343 was going to change it back to the original Mark 6 armor from halo 2 and 3. I understand that he has not been in cryo the entire time but I don’t see how his armor changed so much.
i read somewhere that the armor you saw in the trailer wasn’t a representation of what would be in the actual game.

Lol nice! I’m not denying that his armor does look cool. It’s just that I really liked his old Halo 2 and 3 armor. Anyone know if he will have his old armor again?

The armor in the teaser is not his final armor, but the final armor will look SOMETHING like the armor in the teaser.
Hopefully he’ll grow a codpiece too.

But if you think about it then how do his armor change so much? His chest and sholders are totaly different.

I know your just kidding but Frankie did say that he does have a cod piece, its just black. I dunno my he was tired of the standard metallic green…wanted to try some new color schemes…
Bright green codpiece just signals to enemies where your junk is. If I was a super soldier, I’d want my package camouflaged, too.
Looks more like a cosmetic change because he still has the same scar on his right breast from h3

It’s not the final design, we have till the next Holiday season when Halo 4 is released. Think of it as a work in progress and that E3 trailer does NOT represent the final product.
Just look how Master Chief’s armor changed from the E3 trailer to the final version of CE:A. If you understand this, you’ll get what i mean.
Jeez, people are really hung up on the cod-piece… It looked like a diaper. They made it a little more sleek and less like a Huggies.
