This is just a statement. I liked Master Chief’s old Mk. VI armor better (Halo 2-Halo 3). his armor in Halo 4 and Halo 5 is ugly, and WAY too complex. PLEASE 343, make Master Chief wear his Halo 3 armor in Halo 6!!! Anyone else agree?
Was stating this all in bolded text really necessary?
I like the 343 Mk VI much more than the Bungie Mk VI, so I’m glad he is going to be staying the same in the next game most likely.

Next we will switch it back to old school CE graphics for the rest of the game! Suck it better new graphics!
Complex armor isn’t bad. In fact, I like his new armor better than the other iterations of the armor. Just my opinion on that matter.

In what way does his new armor make more sense? How was the old design unrealistic compared to 343’s version?

- His new design might be cool but it makes less sense. His upper shoulders are exposed and most Gen 2 MJOLNIR outfits have ZERO armor on the groin. I read that
the undersuit is armored but then what is the point of the armor plating if the undersuit does such a good job? At least Chief had a full codpiece in Halo 1-3.
Also, was it really necessary to make two threads about the original Mark VI vs Chief’s custom Mark VI?

Just adding the space diaper to the new armor would make it perfect to me.
How about in Halo 6 he gets Mk. VII?

Halo 6 the MC will still have his helmet but his armor will consist only of the codpiece with built in energy shield generator… the rest will be a wifebeater shirt and jean short all a color of your choosing (jean shorts can be swapped out for a speedo effect)

That would be good…except for the fact that a lot of people didn’t like the Decimator armor…which is based on the Mk. VII prototypes. Personally, I like every iteration of the Master Chiefs armor. I noticed the Mk. IV- Mk VI(Gen 1) and Decimator (based on Mk. VII proto.) have codpiece armor plating. So, it seems that Mark armor variants look to have the best crash safety rating for Spartan groin protection.

After going AWOL with Blue team in Halo 5, and the urgency of the ongoing story, I’m not sure when he’d have time to debrief and upgrade armor… How crazy would it be if Chief got a more Promethean armor upgrade?
I’m actually the opposite. With the exception of the classic CE Mark V, I think the older Master Chief armor looks substantially less cool.
Also, was the bold really necessary? Or were you using text-to-speech, and just talking really loudly?
Sometimes older isn’t always better than newer/vice versa, but with chief armor, newer is better.
