Master Chief summarises my thoughts on H5 campaign

Link.

How original…

Lol. Yeah. All the mission levels seem really cramped and you never get a sense of a huge large scale battle. There is also a terrible amount of clutter on the maps too.

Lol. How did I know? :stuck_out_tongue: Unless it was going to be “I need a weapon.”

I was hoping that Halo 5 would bring the sandbox back closer to Halo 3 and with levels like the Ark, but instead all we got was lots of individual arenas crammed with AI.

How could “I need a weapon.” work as thoughts on Halo 5’s campaign? Unless I guess If you kept running out of ammo then it might make a small amount of sense.

'Nuff said. lol

I loved the campaign actually. The levels kept me interested, fighting in the Arbiter’s civil war and seeing Blue Team in action were dreams coming true, and since I managed to keep away from spoilers the outcome surprised me with

Cortana being the antagonistQuite frankly I want to replay it again just in case I missed anything. Definitely want to try 4 player co-op to see how that is.

Me too Chief… me too.

Personally, I think the entire plot of the Arbiter was quite rushed and honestly just felt like it was there to try please fans. Blue Team also didn’t really get enough screen time so they felt very underdeveloped.

The story itself was ok. Not great, but ok.
But the level design makes up for it. I havent played a Halo game this fun since Halo Reach’s level ‘Tip of the Spear’

Halo 5 was never suppose to be used to develop characters like those in Blue Team or Osiris, the EU covers that and is easily accessible by anyone who cares to know. Halo 5 was made to tell the next part of the Halo story and it did a fantastic job of that.

I loved the campaign, best one I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing.

If you don`t like it then play the multiplayer?

…That’s what I have been doing since I beat the campaign.
