Ok so 343 has confirmed an ending to Master Chief’s story in whatever form that takes. The real question moving forward then would be the state of blue team.
Being the sensible community member who really cares about the state of Halo after H6 or H7, I’ve thought up the only theory that makes sense.
As the most senior officer of the remaining Spartan 2’s, (Appointed by Kurt-051) Frederick-104 would assume leadership of the team; A step further evidenced by his leadership in MC’s previous absence. Assuming Linda and Kelly remain on the team, that brings us to the MC’s replacement. Caboose.
Now before all the skeptics and Church’s of the world downvote this like they did earlier on reddit, please hear me out on this.
For one, he has extensive vehicular training, something that is underutilized on the current team. (Linda snipes, Kelly runs)
Furthermore, he is combat veteran who has been involved in every conflict since Halo CE, with his most extensive experience having been as a defender of Reach.
There’s obviously more reasons, but I’d rather stick to the most evident ones. Signing off, I think he’s someone the community can rally around, much like Buck did with Osiris.
