Master chief still LAST spartan??

Do you think since it’s been a certain number of years since Chief has been asleep that new spartans will come?? :open_mouth:

Maybe. I wouldn’t be surprised if these Spartan IV’s are implemented into the campaign somehow.

MOre spartans = better.

Of course John is still a Spartan: after all, Spartans never die.

I don’t actually read the books because they’re crap*, but from what I gather there are Spartan-IVs on the UNSC Infinity, a ship which has turned up in Halo 4 concept art.

*This is an opinion.

Sorry i MEAN’T DO YOU THINK HE IS GOING TO BE LAST SPARTAN?

Definately no.

you probably haven’t given them a chance

What part of ‘opinion’ did you not catch? I’ve tried them, I didn’t like them. That’s my informed personal opinion. Deal with it.

The Halo books are the literary equivalent of the most casual game imaginable. Of course, it’s still perfectly possible to like a casual series; I, however, don’t. This is what I call a good series.

I don’t get this…

In CE, Chief is described as the last of his kind, the last of the Spartan II’s. Fair enough, it was their first game, and they could change the story then.

But they say that he’s the last of his kind in Halo 3, too. On the blurb (The back of the box)

But then all these other Spartan II’s appear in books and other media. What the hell? Why’s he described as ‘The last one’ when there’s a bunch of other random Spartans wandering around somewhere?

These are all the possible spartans that could be alive or active, or used as a spartan IV

Well The main reason why chief Says this in the campaign is because he personally felt as though the war with the covenant had gotten so bad after reach that there was no chance that any of the other Spartans surviving. and his personal battle that we was the leader and yet believe he is the last one makes him push forward because he believes he must atone for the loss of his fallen comrades.

As for marketing that explains its self lol yeah marketing can make mistakes to make a game more interesting to newer players. most you even have a slightest interest in chief and the back story will know that there definitely more spartans

At this point as well, he was practically the only Spartan around to defend Earth. It was the end of the trilogy anyway. Anything was possible by the time the credits rolled.

I never go by captions for anything regardless. I
