Its Halofollower again. Judging from the tittle “Master Chief’s Darkest Secret” I think its the geas theory again.
My internet’s acting up at the moment, and I dont particularly want to watch Halo Follower.

Anyway, I’m really not sure about the whole GEAS theory yet. I’d allow 343i to let their story unfold before I accept anything.
I’ve seen the video and really, it isn’t mindblowing. Mind you me and several other people who invest in the lore have discussed similar things for years and I don’t doubt Chris got this stuff from us. Not that I believe everything the video says. I don’t think the Librarian’s plans set out to only create the Master Chief. The other Spartans got his augmentations (his evolutionary development) and his armor. The only difference is that Chief ended up with Cortana, but what is stopping the other Spartans from getting AIs of their own? The Spartans as a whole scream Forerunners if you see how the evolution of MJOLNIR with AI integration is exactly how how Forerunner armor was. I don’t think Chief has the geas of the Iso-Didact either. The Librarian never really had time to get an imprint from the Iso-Didact and give it to a random human nor does it ever state that Chant-to-Green implanted it in some random human when Earth was reseeded.
Of course I may be wrong and these are just my own speculations.
Heck, the Chief could have a Precursor (un-corrupted) geas!!!

Sincerely I have found time to read 13 halo books, but didn’t manage to waste 7:16 minutes to watch that video entirely, even if everybody are talking about it.
I normally read the books or comics and follow the campaign’s story. I like to be surprised instead of theorizing
